Mid-week conclusions for the disillusioned:

• Eating ‘clean’ is a privilege.
  
• It’s scary to experience women and children being punching bags for patriarchy, figuratively and physically.
  
• It’s not even the disappointment of wasting time, it’s the disappointment in myself for glorifying settling and compromising.
  
• People fetishize words like ‘thug’ that are systematically used to criminalize people of color, yet remain silent when protestors get called the same. 
  
• Ways in which we show affection, or lack of, is a learned trait.
  
• Quit demanding your partners to display western forms of intimacy.
  
• The irony of saying “we are all one race,”  AFTER creating the concept of race, then proceeding to build a global social, economic, and political system of white supremacy.
  
• Mocking accents is normalized racist behavior.
